January 21 - 7:00 pm, at the Richmond Free Library: Vermont Craftsman Helps Restore Notre Dame Cathedral. Join Will Wallace-Gusakov for a presentation on his Notre Dame de Paris restoration work. Co-sponsored by the Richmond Historical Society and the Bolton-Richmond-Huntington Community Senior Center.
April 27 - 3:30 pm at the Richmond Free Library: RHS Annual Meeting and Spring Program: Saving a Community Treasure: The Rescue of Gillett Pond. Join Richmond Land Trust Board Members Fritz Martin and Lou Borie for a visual account of the effort to save Gillett Pond after State officials notified the owner in 2103 that the failing dam at the end of the pond needed to be removed or rebuilt. Historical and contemporary photos and maps will trace the history of the pond and the 10-year undertaking to rebuild the dam and save this community treasure. A brief RHS business meeting and election of officers will precede the program. All are welcome to attend the RHS meeting as well as the presentation.
September 14 - 10 am: Round Church Pilgrimage - worship service hosted by Richmond Congregational Church. All are welcome.
November - Date/Time TBA: RHS Potluck Supper and Fall Program - Richmond Congregational Church. Bring food to share for this casual community gathering.
December 7 - 4 & 5 pm: Round Church Carol Sing - led by Tom Walters. Free/Donations Welcome. Note: Dress warmly - the Round Church has no heat.
