Thursday, February 26 ~ Robert McCullough, The Artist’s View of Bridges . 1:30 - 3:00 pm in the Richmond Town Center 3rd-floor meeting room.
McCullough, a UVM Professor Emeritus of Historic Presevation, discusses the cultural importance of bridges as portals to our communities or visible landmarks for our countryside travels. In addition to exploring the work of artists who have studied Vermont's bridges, the discussion will also focus on some of the challenges faced by those who would preserve the state's historic bridges. Admission free.

History of the Conants’ Riverside Farm - Dave and Jay Conant give a slideshow presentation about this historic Richmond farm owned by the Conant family since 1854. Admission free.
Saturday, March 21 at 11 am ~ The Hurricane of 1938, a presentation by author Steven Long in the Richmond Free Library Community Room.
This program tells the story of the most destructive weather event ever to hit the Northeast. The hurricane pummeled the coast and blasted its way to Vermont and New Hampshire with torrential rain, flooding, and sustained winds over 100 miles per hour. Admission free.

Events at the Old Round Church to include a reading of the Declaration of Independence and ringing the church bell 250 times.
